Questions and Answers

How does the Mobile Mulch System work?
The system relies on the "Infusionator" application wand which infuses color into the top layers of mulch using low pressure fan spray nozzles and a mulch positioning brush.

Are the colorants safe for my plants, animals, and children?
Yes, the Landmark series of colorants are made from iron oxide pigments which come from the earth. The colorants are proven to be completely safe for the environment.

Do I have to re-color the area several times a season if the mulch
is disturbed by traffic?

No. Unlike other companies that just spray on the surface, Mobile Mulch Systems "Infusionator" technology allows the color to penetrate into the top layers of mulch to ensure complete coverage and avoid the need to rake and re-color.

How long will the colorant last?
The Landmark series of colorants have been specifically designed for the Mobile Mulch System and will hold the color for a longer period of time than typical new mulch colorants. You can expect the color to last one year or more under normal conditions.

What do I do about high traffic areas and thin spots in my mulch?
The required new mulch can be added and then blended with the old through the coloring process.

What will happen if I spray the non-mulch areas like plants, planters, edging, etc.?
By using the Mobile Mulch Systems process and proven application techniques you can avoid and prevent accidental coloring of non-mulch objects and areas.

Will the colors match what is already in place?
Because of the base coat or primer coat on the mulch, the new color will be darker and more vibrant than the original. Six main colors are available as well as custom colors to match or compliment any project.

How much will I save by using Mobile Mulch Systems program?
Up to 50% over replacing or re-covering your existing mulch.
